Summary
In 1916 the Germans, who had been experimenting with biological weapons, released a pathogen that forever altered the world. The Germans had intended a localized effect and had planned to use the ensuing chaos to stage an attack. However the pathogen soon spread, infecting both sides and spreading with a virulence no one had anticipated. It changed the course of millions of lives. It changed the course of Thomas Barrow and Matthew Crawley's lives.

Summary
After Lieutentant Edward Courtenay is prevented from taking his own life, he is moved to Downton Abbey. From then on he gets swept away with the Abbey's way of life, from the aristocratic family that have had to surrender their home for the war effort, to the busy lives of the downstairs servants who manage to keep everything a float. During this time at Downton his health improves and he begins to develop feelings for a certain surly Acting Sergeant of the Convalescent home.

In which Dr Henry Jekyll, accompanied with Robert Lanyon and the rest of the lodgers, are sent forward in time to 1920 and… Yorkshire. Troubled with Hyde and making sure his relationship with Lanyon stays secret, Jekyll takes it upon himself to get The Society back home. However, with the Crawley family and the Downton Abbey staff, it is making it much more difficult to keep things hidden.

Together, Mary and Matthew had made beauty. They had made happiness and love. Matthew began to walk away from her. His figure slowly fading away into another existence. Matthew turned back to her, his lips slowly parting, as he left: “I told the stars about you, darling”.
