Summary
Georgiana does not handle her brother leaving for Cambridge at 18 very well, despite the fact that he is only going for one semester a year. Elizabeth is in Lambton for her aunts wedding and finds the young Georgiana amid her attempt to run away to her brother. Mr Darcy Sr. notes Elizabeth as an ideal confidant for Georgiana and pays for her to be a living in playmate in the months FitzWilliam is away.
Elizabeth slowly becomes a family member to the Darcys except for FitzWilliam who doesn’t understand his families behaviour.

A modern AU featuring history-major Lizzie, publishing-company-CEO Darcy, childhood-friends-to-lovers Jane/Charles, and enough Bennet family nonsense to move the plot along.

First few chapters are a wild west retelling of the beloved "Pride and Prejudice," but eventually we will diverge a bit. Also yes, the title is a reference to Cowboy like me by Taylor Swift :)
