Elizabeth Bennet is a bright naturalist with a particular interest in making a study of spiders. She studies her spiders happily in Hertfordshire until it is clear someone is trying to attack her. He lives in seclusion in his estate Pemberley, seeking to trouble no one and expecting no one to trouble him. That all changes when he honors a favor for an old friend and opens his house up to a Miss Elizabeth Bennet. She immediately disrupts his peace, and far more disturbing to Duke Darcy, she awakens desire and passion he thought he would never have.
