One of the many advantages of magic, and of all people having a daemon — a physical form of their soul in the shape of an animal — is that it makes it easier to locate one’s soulmate. Find a witch, buy a spell, follow your daemon to your happy ending. It's really rather straightforward. The spell Aziraphale purchased, he thinks, must simply not have worked.
