    “No.“

The word rang trough the throne room like a gunshot.

Hermes’ fingers, which had previously danced over the screen of his caduceus halted and he raised an eyebrow as he looked up at Poseidon.

The Lord of the Sea held his head high, regally, unrelenting. His eyes were as dark as the waters surrounding Charybdis and his glance bored into each and every one of them, while his hands rested on his trident.

    A silent threat.

It’s a Reading the book story.

Old, done a million times and completely self-indulgent.

If you like this kind of story you’re probably desperate enough to check every new one out, if you don’t, I know there is nothing at all I can say to convince you to read this one, and if you don’t know what a reaction fic is and simply start this one out of curiosity , I might be the one to drag you into this rabbit hole.

If that’s the case, I am deeply sorry, and good luck. It’s pretty hard to leave this trope behind once you’re into it.

    Summary

Steve Rogers always does what he thinks is right. Unfortunately, believing he is right isn't the same as being right. Sometimes he's wrong. And sometimes he has to face the consequences of his actions.

Or, what if Team Cap was actually called out on their poor decisions and had to deal with consequences instead of being rewarded? A series of unrelated drabbles of what might have been.

And in case the tags aren't clear: this is not Steve or Team Cap friendly. If that's not your thing, just don't read it.

It’s really good! The first fanfic I’ve read that has Viktor/Harry. I forgot which chapter I stopped at though.

    Summary

“He has a point though, Ron.”
“Who, Harry? Of course, he’s right! Just look at what they’ve done.”
“No, not Harry, Malfoy. What he stands to gain through his inheritance is very important to Wizarding society." Hermione placed her book back on her lap, thumbing the curve of the spine as she spoke. "You’ll stand to gain quite a bit too, Harry. Or so I’d imagine. The Potter name is an Ancient and Noble one as well."

Just one conversation can accidentally dig up a long-buried secret. When Harry goes to find out his inheritance, he discovers much more than he can imagine.

Just who is Harry Potter and did he ever really exist in the first place?
