Zhongli is ready to retire, he has been for over a century. The Gnosis has other plans, and intervenes as he introduces himself to the Harbinger sent to fulfill his plans/contract with the Tsaritsa.
Childe has no idea what the fuck is going on. One moment he’s going through Liyue customs. The next he’s waking up in the private rooms of a place called ‘Bubu Pharmacy’ with a strange man lying across the room from him. An adeptus with Cor Lapis horns that no one will talk about without asking their permission first.
Ekaterina doesn’t seem worried though, so as he waits for that to resolve itself he’s gotta figure out what to do with the tiny crystal horns sticking out of his own hair.

Summary
Back when Kaveh and Alhaitham were still actively enrolled in the Akademiya, the boys get real drunk.
Kaveh, complains about the expectations of being bitten as an Omega. Alhaitham, in his equally drunken state decides to offer to let Kaveh bite him instead. These two, at the time call it an experiment. Is it really an experiment though when they're only actually soft for each other? Outside the whole omega bites alpha thing? They still have their fallout, but Kaveh moves to Fontaine instead.
Oh, and of course, shit is never what it appears below the surface. Alhaitham is experimented on by the Sages during that absence, and that leads to a massive problem for everyone, not just him. Especially the Alphas in the Mahamatra that think he'll be an easy target in a berserk state.
Meanwhile Kaveh is just sitting at his mother's table lamenting not chasing after his cute junior. Said cute junior who is on a homicidal rage that only a clueless senior can stop. Thankfully Cyno and Tighnari speak berserker Alpha.

Summary
Childe couldn’t look away.
He stood in front of a large glass tank.
It wasn’t the tank, nor the weird technology surrounding it, that seemed to hold the Harbinger's attention. It was the familiar figure that floated in the center of the tank.
The figure’s arms were wrapped loosely around his knees. His clawed hands were black as obsidian up until his wrists, where metal bands were tightly clasped. A long tail, glittering with brown and golden scales, protruded from the figure’s lower back side, and spiraled under him until the fluffy tip rested at the bottom of the tank.
A set of 4 horns, seemingly made from core lapis itself, extended out the top of his head. All 4 horns came to curled tips, except one, which appeared to have had several inches broken off.“Xiansheng.”
