Summary
Tommy and Tubbo are soulmates in the world where people in the past had to hide that. Now, the world has no problems with them, but generational trauma makes soulmates still hide their bond, including Tommy and Tubbo. They can talk with each other in their minds and use that during Dream SMP events.
That brings a lot of changes in exile as Tommy finds out the truth. They keep their secret until it becomes a question of life and death at the Disc Final Battle, where they have to decide if it is worth their lives and come to realise they can't hide it anymore.

He attempted to attack but rushed too quickly forward and collapsed downward onto the roof, wallowing in pain. "If you're going to fucking kill me, do it already," muttered Quackity. "I'm obviously not in a position to defend myself.""Calm down; I've decided to save you out of pure compassion in my heart. In all honesty, I enjoy fighting you and would rather not see you die. You're just so damn entertaining to fuck with that I think I might even be mournful if you passed away." Siren began with a broad grin that stretched across his face. With his foot he pushed Quackity onto his back and hummed, scanning across him. "It appears that I have my work cut out for me."

Quackity just wants his school tuition to be cheaper. Getting away from Schlatt is a great bonus though. Really how hard can it be to care for some animals on a ranch though.
Karl is going to do something good before he graduates so help him god. If that’s what Badlands ranch provides he’ll take it even with the sour look on the owners son’s face.

Quackity watched from a distance as Tubbo began decorating a sleeping Schlatt’s horns. His small tail wagged with excitement and effort as he stretched to wrap lights without waking his father up or moving the chair he was sleeping in. Quackity had two options in that moment:
1.Leave Tubbo to his own devices and attempts, risking the three year old falling over and potentially injuring himself
