I find a seat at the back, smiling at the elderly lady who moves her bag to let me sit next to her. And then I wait.
One stop.
Two stops.
The bus comes to a halt, and I realise I’m holding my breath when the doors open and I see a familiar dark head; wavy hair that falls gently on high cheekbones. Grey eyes quickly scan the bus, finding a spot at the front, without noticing me. Then he does what he always does. He opens his work bag (something expensive, made of soft-looking leather), gets a worn-out paperback out and immediately starts to read. -

Baz decides that he feels too comfortable and doesn’t want to get up to go out for food, so Simon decides to order out for them and get dressed just enough to meet the delivery person at the door. While Simon is accepting the order, Baz wraps up in a sheet and comes up behind him, smug as both Simon and the delivery person become flustered.
