Approaching 30, Hermione Granger's life is not exactly going the way she'd planned. Divorced from her childhood sweetheart, punished at work for said divorce, and desperate to keep herself on track to become Minister for Magic by forty, Hermione decides to take a year off and teach.
Returning to Hogwarts, she finds herself leading a totally different life than what she was used to. With old friends becoming new lovers, old mentors becoming new friends, and a fulfillment from work she's never felt before.

Especially to an empty cottage now that Dora prefers to stay in London. Long nights turn into long conversations with his new colleague, Hermione Granger. Soon she's his closest friend and confidante and suddenly, without realising how he got himself into this situation, Remus is acting like a much younger man. The trouble is he likes it.
