    LYSANDER:
Ay me! For aught that I could ever read,
Could ever hear by tale or history,
The course of true love never did run smooth.
    (Midsummer's Night Dream, Act I, Scene I)

Asami Sato was a rising Hollywood star when, surrounded by vicious rumours, she traded red carpets for rehearsal halls, leaving behind the shallow glare of the film industry for a shot at real theatre at the elite (and cutthroat) Zaofu Theatre Conservatory. Korra’s been the department’s golden girl (and resident hearbreaker) for over a year — and she’s not about to let some ex–movie star steal her stage. But when casting lists, late-night rehearsals, even later-night bar shifts, crazy parties, and a disastrous roommate shuffle keep throwing them together, rivalry starts looking a lot like chemistry.

But let's face it, everything looks like chemistry if you add some Shakespeare.

    Summary

The time has come for Helen of Sparta to choose a suitor and prepare for her upcoming wedding. Suitors have come from all over Greece and beyond.

Helen's cousin, Penelope, doesn't think much of one of the men, a smug young king from an island in the middle of nowhere. He's snarky, sarcastic, and annoying. She can't wait for him to leave.

Odysseus of Ithaca came to Sparta as one of Helen's suitors, but he has no intention of marrying. One of the princesses catches his eye for the wrong reasons. While she is pretty, she is also insufferable, and he can't wait to leave.

    Summary

The main problem with this was that the fondness had grown, over the course of however many months of rehearsals, into something more. He didn’t just think Aziraphale was lovely to look at; he genuinely liked him. His laugh, his rambling thoughts, the way he lit up when talking about books or obscure composers. Crowley found himself daydreaming about holding his hand, pressing a kiss to his palm, drawing him into a quiet, steady embrace. The other artists had told him more than once to just ask the man out - as if it were that simple. But it was never simple for Crowley.

    *****

Aziraphale is a theatre actor. Crowley is a theatrical make-up artist. Their friendship is instantaneous and beautiful - but it can't be anything more, can it?

    Summary

Jazz shot a glare at the ghost from just over the pages of her literature textbook.  He was, regrettably, an absolute dreamboat; a leather-clad greaser with immaculately styled hair and visible muscles bulging under his jacket.  Sharp jaw, high cheekbones, long eyelashes—he'd probably be dreamier if he didn't have a ghost's grey skin and red eyes. Or if she couldn't see the outline of the bookshelves through him. Or if she wasn't already completely fed up with him by this point in the day.

Jeepers creepers, could this guy not take a hint?

Everyone at Smosh has a recurring bit. Arasha's a liar. Spencer gets away with saying the most unhinged things. And Damien? His fist-bumps and high-fives get ignored. It's never on purpose; they just happen to be looking the wrong way and completely miss them. It doesn't bother him as much now and he can comfortably joke about it. But there's one cast member he's noticed that has never left him hanging.

[Summary] 'Tis a Dramione take on “Much Ado About Nothing," focused solely on the Beatrice/Benedick storyline for length and clarity. Featuring raging banter, a gloriously meddling Theo (it's his house, after all), sex, confessions, bad poetry, a little hurt/comfort, repressed feelings, idiots in love, and all the goodest stuff. Many lines directly from the play, whose author has been dead for 400 years so it's all good."

"Shu had tried to talk directly to him about this particular issue prior to the funeral contest they’d participated in on request of Shu’s Grandfather, but he’d been interrupted by the call from Shu’s brother that had informed them of the 17th staged death of aforementioned Grandfather, dispelling the pair’s argument regarding Mika’s living situation – the living situation that Shu had clearly assumed far too quickly based on the way Mika was constantly leading him on!"

    Summary

Given months of anguish and self-application, hearts have been known to slowly but surely remove from hopeless, if noble, attachments. The journey can be a wretched and revealing whirlwind—to the two lovers involved, that is. To society at large, to the onlookers and the whisperers, it can seem lifeless and lacklustre.

Unsurprisingly, when watchful eyes in Devon and Dorset realise their expectations of a grand romance between Colonel Brandon and Marianne Dashwood are not to be, disappointment abounds. Fortunately for the colonel, his (apparently shocking) new dear one has fortitude and forbearance in spades.

    Summary

Mr. Robert Gadling may be tolerably handsome, of an amiable disposition and in possession of a good fortune (for a tradesman), but is it enough to tempt Morpheus, the 14th Viscount Amaranth? Will the months Mr. Gadling is to spend at the Amaranth country mansion as a result of a wager between the Lord Amaranth and his elder sister allow the unlikely pair to develop a friendship—or, perhaps, even a forbidden attachment?

A series of rousing events involving balls, duels, play readings and meddling suitors lie between the Amaranth household and their return to town come winter—events which may forever change the viscount’s opinion on the merits of life in the country and, more importantly, on the balance between duty and the pursuit of happiness.

“But i'm not, so let's get out of here” Alex grabs Henry’s hand and pulls him towards the door.
