Summary
“You’re out of line, sergeant,” Ghost reprimanded in a low voice, Soap refused to let that turn him on the way he knew it would, biting the inside of his cheek to stop himself from crossing every boundary known to man. Soap knew he was Ghost’s exception to almost every rule he put in front of him, the walls he built up only to allow Soap to climb over some. But the closer the other man may get to Ghost, the more he worried Soap would get hurt. Because if he burnt Soap, Ghost would not ever find it in him to forgive himself.
“You ran out of there like a penguin with it’s arse on fire, sorry that I have some fuckin’ concern. I’m sorry,” he said, letting go of Ghost’s elbow, “Just,” he sighed, “when I feel like I’m makin’ progress with you, you go all cold and shut down, fuck’s with my head, that’s all,” Ghost dropped his gaze, biting his lip, “Night, L.T.,” Soap conceded, turning his back and making his way back to the pub.

Summary
When Soap opens his eyes, it’s not to the sharp, sterile white of hospital fluorescents like he’s come to expect after a mission gone wrong.
It’s warm. Soft. Dust dancing lazily in the air above him. The mattress beneath him is firm but unfamiliar. The pillow smells faintly of cigarette smoke and old linen.
Where the fuck—
Pain slams into his skull like a brick. A deep, throbbing ache just behind his eyes that makes him groan low in his throat. It comes paired with the dry pull of dehydration and a strange tightness in his chest that flares every time he tries to move.
Then he hears it.
Breathing.
Close.
Too close.
Slow, uneven—like whoever it is can’t decide if they’re relieved or about to fall apart. The rhythm’s just off enough to trigger every survival instinct he’s got.
Something is wrong.
His eyes snap to the side.
And there, sitting far too near on the edge of the bed, is a shape he knows instantly.
Skull mask. Broad shoulders. Black tactical gear, dusty and worn.
Ghost.

Summary
Clearly seeing the confusion on Soap's face, Price cuts to the chase. “How much contact do you have with your family, son?”
“Not much sir…. Why?” Soap’s starting to get nervous again.
“Do you know of a Matthew MacTavish?” Price asks, brows furrowing.
Ah, now that’s a name Soap hasn’t heard in over a decade. “Why?” Soap drops eye contact with the captain.
“Matthew’s the head of the trafficking ring, do you know him?” Soap doesn't see it, but the others in the room tense. Waiting for his answer.
“Ah– Um. yeh ah ken ‘im. He’s–” accent thickening with anxiety, Soap clears his throat. “He’s my.. He’s my Father.”
or:
Soap's father is found out to be the head of a criminal/terrorist organisation, one that's trying to take Makarov's place. Soap will have to face his past along with this team, will soap be able to stay calm or will he just has to accept his teams help.

Summary
Soap tried to run. A flash, then pain exploded in his chest. He stumbled, looked down, saw the red blooming across his ribs. Another shot. His leg gave out.
He fell, coughing blood.
Darkness swallowed him again.
The light flickered above him again. A high pitched hum. The chair. The Straps. The cold.
Soap’s eyes snapped open.

Summary
The first thing he noted was that the room was small; it had two chairs sitting next to a bed. There was a window opposite to him; it had a vase with flowers, the usual ‘get well’ card peeking from in between the stems.
He made his way across the room, ignoring Price's slouching form on one of the chairs. His eyes were immediately locked on the figure resting on the bed. He could hear his heart wildly bash against his chest as he wordlessly stood in front of the sleeping soldier. In front of Johnny.
He watched as Johnny's chest fell and rose with calm and sleep-induced breaths. Price called his name, but he couldn't tear his gaze away from him, making sure that Soap kept on breathing.
...
Or the task force thought that Soap was gone after their last encounter with Makarov. Both Ghost and Price were affected the most by his "death" and were trying to put an end to Makarov. They were not aware that Soap hadn´t died in the mission back then.

Summary
“Do us a favour and set us an alarm for six, before we sleep,” John hummed, making the mental note for later. But his thoughts were soon shelved when he felt Simon bit down on his collarbone.
The buzzing on a phone broke through Simon’s sleep, an ache was felt through his body, one that he welcomed happily along with the memories of what had happened only a few hours prior. Instead of being able to continue on last nights events, Simon turned around to find John’s side of the bed empty and the sound of the shower echoing through the room. Simon shifted over the John’s side of the bed, looking to turn off the alarm. However, John’s phone was nowhere to be found, the sound of the running water was accompanied by John’s music.
“Shit,” Simon hissed, clambering back to his side of the bed, picking up his buzzing phone. It was nearly nine o’clock, and this was not the first phone call that had come through; he was meant to be on his way to Manchester by now.

What if Simon still owned Tommy and Beth's house, but no one knew, so when he has to rush out one morning to help sort the plumbing, Johnny is left to jump to conclusions.

Summary
Being an auror wasn't what John MacTavish thought it would be. No one cared about magic anymore. He was just cleaning up the wizarding world's messes born from neglect. Where were all the dark wizards that used to threaten the world he loved so much? What happened to the excitement he experienced at Hogwarts? What happened to the boy he fell for before he was ripped away by circumstances beyond his control? Maybe he should just give up and join the muggle world like so many others.
Well, if Simon Riley hadn't suddenly shown up after a decade apart, maybe John wouldn't have answers to all those questions.

A fic with Call of Duty characters living in the Wizarding World, taking on a new evil that threatens to destroy both magical and muggle worlds.

Summary
Ghost glances up sharply at the sound of the door, eyes narrowing briefly before recognition softens his expression. "Couldn't sleep either, huh?" He mutters, voice rough from disuse.
"No," Johnny rasps, hoarse and stripped bare, not bothering to put on his usual playful facade. He moves slowly toward a chair opposite Ghost, sinking down into it with a weary sigh. "Haven't slept properly in days."
Ghost nods slowly, taking a long, contemplative drag of his cigarette. "Nightmares?" he asks quietly, smoke curling from his lips as he exhales.
Johnny hesitates, gaze fixed on the worn tabletop. "Aye," he admits finally. "You?"
Ghost pauses, eyes distant for a brief moment before he replies softly, "Always."
"How do you cope?" Johnny asks quietly, frighteningly honest, too exhausted to keep the question at bay.

Summary
Soap is sent on a blind date by his sister, and is not having a good time. At all.
___
Soap couldn't believe it. Of all the places his date could have brought him, it was here.
This was the sort of place you went with mates, or with someone you'd been seeing for a while, as a laugh. Not for your first date. A blind first date, at that.
The 141 sounded fancy. Like a middle class, low lighting sort of restaurant that sold nice whiskey and perfectly cooked steaks.
It turned out the 141 was some sort of Hooters wannabe, with hosts of the female and male persuasion. And they all wore the same tight fitting, skimpy uniforms.

Summary
"MacTavish! Care to share with the rest of the class?" Murphy's voice boomed across the room, freezing Soap in place. Within a second, all eyes in the room focused on him, leaving shame to burn through his entire body.
"Just—tryin' to keep it light," Soap managed a weak laugh at his words, though it ended in a wince as he realized how thick his accent became. His smile faltered as his brain scrambled to find a better reply, or a way out without making a fool of himself, or something—
"Shut up, Soap." Murphy's growl cut through the air like a whip, low and sharp as he bared his alpha fangs. "We're about to go on a mission, now's not the time for your bloody stand-up routine. Keep it professional for once."

"'Johnny, hey.' Ghost looked down at the unconscious man he was holding. He holstered his gun, wrapping both arms around him as he lowered the Scot to the ground. He looked at the hole in his vest. He quickly undid Soap’s vest, but the bullet had only hit the plate.
'Johnny,' he repeated firmly this time. What was wrong with him? Alarm bells were going off in Ghost’s head. Why wasn’t he conscious?
Soap looked pale. Ghost didn’t hear the sound of his breathing. His fingers quickly found Soap’s pulse point on his neck.
