Another more imminent threat still lingers, even despite the Veil’s connection to the World of the Living closed, and Will must continue to tread very carefully like Professor Morganach originally forewarned.

This is another headcanon of mine set during the Halloween trick-or-treating event in Hawkins, 1984. The story follows the core four—thirteen-year-olds Mike, Will, Lucas, and Dustin—as they head out for a night of fun, joined by Max, who’s dressed as Michael Myers. Will brings along his JVC GR-C1 video camera to capture the memories. As the group enjoys the evening, Will and Mike end up getting separated from the others and find themselves walking alone. The story focuses on a quiet moment between the two boys as they talk and share a conversation that becomes more meaningful than either expected.
