Summary
John Winchester commissioned the mark off an amateur white witch with a knack for sigils. Folks could see the Impala, get an impression of her, and then wouldn't be able to remember a single concrete detail when she pulled out of sight. It's the reason the Winchesters are so hard to find (and the reason Dean would never change an inch of the Impala).

Summary
Dean goes off on what he thinks is a typical hunt after a shifter in the forest, only to find out Cas is actually an ancient dragon with the powers of shifting. Sam thought he had found a spell to kill shifters but it turns out it has the opposite affect on dragons and instead seemed to have accidentally bonded Cas and Dean to one another. They end up stuck with each other in Castiel's home, for if they are more than a short distance apart they become sick. So somehow they need to find a solution to their problem so they can get rid of each other.
Only, will they even want to part ways when they do figure it out?#Destiel

“You know I do,” Dean answered, his voice carrying resignation and sadness. He knew Cas was right. This was the only way if he wanted to help save his brother. He had to do it, even though everything in him wanted to fight it. But he trusted Cas with his life. And now he was going to show him just how deep that trust ran.
Dean fell to his knees in front of the angel, bowing his head forward as he was fitted with the extraordinarily heavy collar. Castiel’s fingers caressed his skin when he closed the clasp of the sign of slavery; the symbol that gave Dean’s life over to the angel’s mercy. Dean suppressed the urge to close his eyes.

He even personally dragged ghosts out from the veil placing them into their rightful places in the afterlife.
For once, Castiel was making the changes he knew were for the best. Some might call him the regional manager of Heaven, a director of sorts, an angelic social worker at times. He wouldn’t, however, because that would be putting far too simple terms onto his rather complex existence.
And he did it all to avoid talking about his feelings.

Ben learned to never need or ask for anything, but there was just one thing he always wanted: to be loved. To be cared for and to be loved by an actual family. But he was just a slave, trapped into the realm of monsters and hunters because Ben was a monster, a psychic, and after getting a vision of the yellow-eyed demon, was now placed into the hands of the Winchesters.
