Summary
The kitchen in the Bureau's residential wing is small, just a tiny galley kitchen for the Bureau members to use if they don’t feel like going to the mess hall, and everything about it feels right. He finds himself reaching for a spoon or a pan without thinking, and there it is, exactly where he expected. It’s as if somehow his body already has muscle memory for this place he’s never been. It’s the strangest thing.
Maybe that’s what makes him decide to actually try cooking again.
Taako tries to cook for the first time since Glamour Springs. When things go awry, Lucretia is there to lend a hand.

The world loved Taako.
For once in his gods-damned life, people loved him. They didn’t care about all the flaws, they didn’t care where he came from or who he was before. They loved his food and they loved him. No one would ever quite be at Taako’s level and that was something he thrived on. There would never be anyone who could measure up. Taako deserved this happiness. He worked for it. He wasted his fucking life away for it.

Harry Potter was, as Master of Death, posted as the overseer of all. A balance of sorts, to make sure everything goes as it should.
Occasionally, things don’t. Sometimes, people die too early, or incorrectly, or in a way that shouldn’t be possible at all, really.
And sometimes, those people stick around.
