“I’m not going to hurt you,” Technoblade said adamantly.
“Dream, I need Dream.” Tommy sounded desperate, his eyes darting across the beach as if searching for his porcelain savior.
Technoblade's pointed ears pricked up at that and his instincts buzzed angrily up his spine. Even the idea that Dream had somehow roped Tommy into a dependence on him was enough to make Technoblade want to break every bone in the fucker’s body.
“You don’t need him,” Technoblade insisted. “Come on, Tommy. Let me take you home.”
“I don’t have a home,” Tommy whispered, and the tremble of his voice broke something in Technoblade’s stone heart.
“Yes, you do,” he said, as steadily as he could with what might as well have been an arrow lodged in his chest. “You have one with me. That will never change.”
Tommy bit his lip. His ears were quivering slightly, his tail swishing against the sand in a gesture of uncertainty.
“Please, Tommy.” Technoblade softened his voice, the way he used to when Tommy was just a kit in his scrawny, teenage arms.

dream leaves logstedshire after finding out about tommy's secret plan. he wants him to rebuild everything and teach him a lesson. but tommy is sick of being exiled so he makes his way to the only place outside of l'manburg that he knows the path to by heart
meanwhile, tubbo starts to regret his choices as president and seeks out tommy's place of exile - just to talk to his best friend again. but the only thing he finds is a left alone tower, built up high, and a blown up wooden castle.
these news spread fast and inspire dream to look for tommy again and after questioning a few people he immediately knows where to look for him.

Summary
Tommy has never known what love is. He has never felt it from anyone, he knows only it's name. His father claim's to love his two son's, excluding Tommy. Tommy acknowledges that his family must have loved the woman who birthed him if they hated him so much for taking her away from them. Dream claims to love Tommy, Tommy doesn't believe him, but he has no reference as to what love is so how can he be sure. All Tommy knows for certain is that He hates Dream, he wishes that maybe he'll wake up and have a different friend who doesn't claim to love him, and treats him like a person who has feelings and thoughts, someone who won't make him feel gross.

Tommy was feeling lonely again.
It wasn’t an uncommon feeling, quite the opposite in fact. Over the weeks of his exile he’d gotten more than used to feeling lonely, distant, like he was simply floating or gliding through his day to day life. He was used to being the only inhabitant on the barren island aside from the amnesiac ghost that would come visit him from time to time.
