It was all Luna's fault. She let those blasted pests loose in the 8th Year Common Room which resulted in fighting ...and... other things. The students must now serve an 8 hour detention lasting all Saturday, and by the end of the day must show they have learned "Interhouse Unity". Since they have proven themselves too rowdy, Headmistress McGonagall casts a "silencio" over the Potions Classroom so they cannot speak to or hear each other. Thankfully, Professor Lovegood has provided them all with Protean-charmed journals for instantaneous communication. WARNING: Mature Language. Inappropriate use of potions and veritaserum.

This is a part of Submissions for the 2025 Snapetober, hosted by The Snape's Army Discord, Day 26.
It features Taneen and Severus from Embers to a Flame as the main story, but this story is just a small blurb of the day-to-day that might or might not get added depending how much an emotional wringer I put the couple through in Embers. This is the second day I've done for this year.
Severus is brewing sexual stamina potions for himself while Taneen is there with him. No sex in the story, but they do talk about potion ingredients causing lust vs. simulating romance.

‘Maybe this time’ is a character study told from Draco’s viewpoint (but not written in first person)
The war is over, Potter has won and Draco returns from an eight month prison sentence only to find he is fractured and struggling. In order to cope he turns to potions but that doesn’t change anything really. The ministry has ordered him into two years of community service that he has to spent with Neville and Luna, and his mother is eager to reinstate an old engagement to one of the Greengrass girls.
In a surprise turn of events Draco finds himself estranged from his family and making unlikely friendships. This is a story of suffering, healing and found family. It’s a slow burn, heavily focused on Draco’s journey and wholesome people trying to navigate dark situations.
