Summary
Enj,
It’s okay if you hate me now. I would hate me too— there’s something about this that just feels so cowardly. I couldn’t say any of it to your face. This box has been sitting in my closet for about eight months, and I just couldn’t bring myself to send it. I threw this in at the last minute, obviously (you know me, always procrastinating). I just need you to know that I don’t hate you; I never have, and I never will.
Inside of this letter, you must have found the CD I made you. It’s silly, I know, and definitely a little MySpace of me, but I always loved showing you music, and burning you CDs, and, well, old habits really die hard. I still sometimes find myself reaching for my phone to say goodnight to you. I still find myself wearing your old shirts. I know that I’m the one that did this— not just to myself, but to both of us—, and in all honesty (you know how hard it is for me to be honest with anybody, let alone you; let alone myself), I regret it.Yours, in the ranks of death,
R(or, the e/R exes-to-lovers mixtape AU)

Summary
He didn’t even think his audition was anything that great— he had stumbled his way through the cold read of the audition sides, he had gotten into a minor disagreement with his audition scene partner that led to him dreaming of yanking the guy’s hair out, and oh. Of course. The name next to Orestes. Because the world hated him, because the world thought that his life was one big joke— Enjolras. The guy from auditions, who also happened to be the one person in the last year’s production of The Glass Menagerie that Grantaire couldn’t forget. He had only gone to see the show to support his best friend— Eponine had landed the role of Laura in an attempt to romance the blundering fool who was auditioning for Jim—, but had left the PAC tormented by visions of blond. Eponine had kindly informed him that Enjolras didn’t date; he had made it very clear at a cast party when a nervous techie asked him out on a date— rumour (Courfeyrac) has it that the techie was never seen again. Combeferre, Eponine’s not-boyfriend and Enjolras’s best friend, sighed when Courfeyrac told the story— “He didn’t die, he just transferred.”

Summary
Grantaire knew, from the first time he saw Enjolras, that something about him was going to ruin his life— later, he would learn that not only would Enjolras ruin it, but he would save it, he would stitch it back together, he would— and had— held his hand at the end of their world; that realization came much, much later, and far after the realization that he was in love. When it happened, though, it hit him like a car crashing against the railing of a bridge, like a wave dissolving into foam at the first touch of the coast, but for the longest time, he couldn’t figure it out— all that he knew was that he needed. Then one day, like one of those roadside billboards that has always been there, one of them that you simply have never noticed, he saw it— hidden in plain sight, as natural and evident as the sun rising the day after the winter solstice.

Summary
Suddenly, everything had gone to shit. Grantaire had been distracted— someone had snagged his attention, maybe they were trying to get him to take a picture of them or something, but the next thing he knew, he was hearing screams. A crowd was rushing past him, violent and fervent in their urge to scatter; all Grantaire could see was Enjolras. He reached for him, grabbed his arm, and held on tightly, keeping both of them in place. He tugged at Enjolras’s sleeve, pulling him close, wrapping his arms around him in the way he was allowed only in disasters such as these; Enjolras permitted it, sinking his face into Grantaire’s chest, breathing in the sweat of his t-shirt, finding the things that made Grantaire human— the fast, yet steady, thrum of his heartbeat, the pulsing of his biceps against Enjolras’s skin, all of it. Enjolras held back a shaky sob and looked at Grantaire with something unfamiliar in his eyes: fear. Enjolras had never looked at him with that much fear written all over his face— typically, Enjolras looked at him with disdain, something fierce, but the way he looked at him in that crowd was, to say the least, distressing.

Summary
“Why don’t I walk you home?” Grantaire asked, his green eyes lighting up with something that Enjolras had an intimate knowledge of— the last time he had seen that look in Grantaire’s eyes was the last time he had come to visit— the last time he had seen him— the winter before that. That last December; the December that had, once again, changed something in the chemical makeup of both of their bodies; both of their hearts; the December that put them, somehow, back where they started.
Enjolras couldn’t hem or haw over the decision any longer; if he took too long to think about the offer, everyone would know— it was a miracle that they had managed to keep it a secret for two years, anyway. Though, Enjolras had told Cosette, and Grantaire had told Eponine— so was it even really still a secret?
“Come on,” Grantaire urged. “Seriously, this place has gotten weird ever since you left, we can’t have you walking alone at night, especially now that you’re not a city boy anymore.”
“Fine,” Enjolras huffed, gathering his things to go. “It was great to see all of you tonight,” he managed to get out.(or, the former-fwb-to-lovers one shot inspired by winterbreak and everything by MUNA)

Summary
Feuilly's head hurts.
To tell the truth, Feuilly's head started to hurt around midnight, and continued to hurt from then until sunrise, every heartbeat pulse stabbing between his eyes in a mockery of his empty bottle of aspirin. The bells over the door of the 24-hour convenience store jingle overhead, sending another knife through his skull, and he grimaces at the fluorescent lighting until his eyes acclimate. There are two other souls in the store: an exhausted, broad-shouldered girl half-visible behind scratched plastic at the counter, and a man standing motionless in front of the cooler of energy drinks.
Great.
Grantaire and Feuilly strike up a pre-dawn, highly-caffeinated friendship and stumble into saving the day.

Summary
“Oh, come on,” Grantaire scoffs, because 1) he’s an asshole and 2) having Enjolras’ furious gaze directed at him and only him is...something, to say the least. Intoxicating, if he’s feeling pretentious. And honestly, when is he ever not. “Pretty boy power prodigies like you benefit from this ’oppressive system’.”
“Grantaire,” Bossuet whispers frantically. “You maybe wanna, uh. Cut it out.”
He wants to do no such thing, thank you very much. He’s on a roll. But then he notices the telltale scent of smoke in the air. He notices the wisps of it coming from Enjolras’ clenched fists. Ah. Whoops.

Enjolras doesn’t like the Powered education system and Grantaire doesn’t even have a power. Together, they don’t fight crime, obviously. They mostly try their best not to burn the school down. Sky High AU.

Summary
There are plenty of rooms on the ship that have windows, but they've always been given to Security, and to those whom Security values or desires something from. Still, they can't keep the stars entirely to themselves. There are cleaning crews and service technicians who must be allowed in to do their jobs, and word spreads through them, in brief whispers exchanged in the corridors, in notes and hearsay and rumor.
There's a planet outside, an actual planet.
