He had to know. There was no way he couldn’t. It was written in the way his smile flickered, the way his confidence gleamed in his eyes when caught just right by the light. He had to know he wanted nothing more than to reach out, to touch the delicate skin of his face, skin he had always seen as fragile, like porcelain. Breakable. Something that could crack beneath the lightest touch, and had. He had to know how deeply he felt, the intensity of his intentions, the depth of his emotions. He had to know every fragile, hidden part of him.
So why would he do this?
