Summary
Look, Jaskier's got a lot going on. He's painfully aware that there are cataclysmic events happening and that the troubled teenager he knows might save the world or speed along the end of days. He's also in love with a man who's never even admitted that they're friends, which is almost as bad.
Oh, and he's still working as the Sandpiper, only now a terrifying eldritch creature has entrusted him with the Song of the Seven to give hope to the elves and help them fight back against their oppression. It's probably the bravest thing he's ever done, but not everyone sees it that way.
Luckily he knows some people who excel at last minute rescues.
... then he just has to figure out how to tell Geralt why so many people are trying to kill him. This is going to go great.

Summary
Lambert emerged from around the corner, racing in their direction, a look of unrestrained panic on his face.
“Eastern turret!” He shouted, as soon as he spotted them.
Geralt was running before the words could properly register.
He was vaguely aware of voices speaking up behind him, but he didn't pay them any mind, sprinting towards the place at a breakneck speed, the loud pounding of his heart drowning out everything else. He barged into the turret and scanned over it, pupils so wide it made his eyes almost entirely black. He noted with alarm that the space was empty, cold gusts of wind sending small flurries of snow through the gaping hole in the wall.
He ran for the gap, gazing through it, and his world screeched to a halt.
A companion piece to Not So Small a Thing, where Jaskier gets de-aged and is wreaking havoc in the witchers' keep.

Summary
Geralt spotted movement from the direction of Jaskier's mound of blankets. Only there was something... wrong with it. He jumped to his feet, covering the distance in two quick strides and yanking the blankets off. What he saw there made him freeze.
Instead of slim, but not inconsiderable bulk of his bard, there, tangled in the colourful, very recognizable set of clothing, was a child.
The boy, for it seemed to be a boy, blinked up at Geralt from under a mop of soft chestnut hair. He was squinting slightly in the sunlight, tiny hand rubbing sleep from his eyes. From his very blue, very familiar-looking eyes, with the specific, cornflower hue that he's only ever seen in one person on the entire Continent.
Geralt felt all the air leave his lungs in a single, punched-out exhale.
Fuck.
What is a witcher to do when he finds himself with a baby bard on his hands?
Take him to Kaer Morhen, of course.
