Summary
Mrs. Young smiled. “As teachers, we don't get to sit down and talk one on one with each child as much as they deserve. This assignment always grants me a beautiful insight to my students. Their proudest accomplishments, their darkest moments, or even some facts I've never known.”
She lifted a hand to her heart. “So with that, I would like all of you hear from one of the most beautiful essays I've had the pleasure of reading, from one of the-” she sighed. “-funniest kids I've met. Please welcome Christopher Diaz.”
...Christopher smiled into the microphone. "My name is Christopher Diaz. Here's my essay."
"Dear abandoning dead Mom."
The silence from the audience was deafening.
"Oh god." Eddie whispered beside him.

Summary
The AU where Bobby adopted Evan when he was six years old, and then twenty years later Eddie joins the 118 and starts dating Buck... and no one initially realises that Evan and Buck are, in fact, the same person. Part 1 is the story of the identity shenanigans and the reveal.
Part 3 is a collection of missing scenes from the original story, while Parts 4 ('how it could have gone') and 5 ('another way it could have gone') are outtakes and depict two different scenarios where the reveal of Buck and Evan being the same person go a different way.
Part 2 'oh captain my captain' is a prequel and shows the 118 meeting Bobby and then later on Evan.
Part 6 'these are the days we've been waiting for' is the story of Buck's first day at the 118.
Part 7 'may you live in interesting times' is a sequel to that takes place about a year or so later, and Part 8 'I once was lost (but now I'm found)' directly follows on and is a full-length sequel and prequel to the main story.
This series as it is now is standalone and can be considered complete. The only reason I haven't marked it as such is because I do expect to be adding additional installments at some point in the future. Happy reading!

Summary
"What she does notice is the way Buck avoids questions that aren’t work-related. No social media. No talk of dating. And whenever Chim annoys him about weekend plans, Buck just shrugs and says he has someone waiting on him. “Partner,” he says, and it’s the only thing they can get out of him about his personal life. Everything else feels like it’s under lock and key."
Or, a 5+1 where Buck and Eddie are already married when Buck comes to LA and joins the 118. Hen attempts to find out more about their new probie who keeps details about his life suspiciously underwraps. That is, until a little boy is brought to the station and thus begins the 118s quest to figure out who Buck’s mysterious partner is.

Summary
"Oh, my God, Peter,” MJ whines, throwing her hips back. But he stops her, his hands heavy against her waist as he pants.
“What?!”
“Fuck,” she whispers, though she knows he’d hear it anyway. God, this is going to be mortifying. How do you explain to someone you fucking that you’re picturing someone you were in love with for years, even though they barely looked at you, all because you’ve never seen the face of the guy your sleeping with?
OR
MJ is sleeping with Spidey and occasionally thinking about Peter. Her bad.

Summary
“I think it’s your birthday tomorrow, Petey,” Tony said when he’d gotten Peter dressed after a shower. “Yeah, you’re gonna be fifteen.” If there was something Tony knew how to do, it was talk. He upheld a near-constant stream of words for Peter to hang on to. He had yet to get a reaction, but, then again, Tony had no idea what was going on inside Peter’s mind. So he talked. His voice was something familiar to Peter.
Peter’s eyes didn’t portray a single thing, but at least they lingered on Tony.
