Summary
It has been half a year since the King of Adarlan and the Queen of Witches parted ways in Terrasen. Dorian and Manon find blessed release in the physical comforts of each others' bodies, but it remains to be seen whether they can be more than that. Will Manon find it in herself to walk through, rather than away, from her loss? Can she learn to let go of the iron-fisted grip on her heart when everything she once loved was ripped away from her? What would it look like if Dorian and Manon were both to truly believe that they deserved love and compassion?
A direct continuation of the Throne of Glass world post-Kingdom of Ash, this story explores how Dorian and Manon find their way to one another. As they both navigate the complexities and heavy burden of duty, they attempt to find healing--individually, together, and for their broken nations.

Fair warning - I’m slightly obsessed with things like sleeping arrangements. And one letting something slip that reveals how much they like the other. And them fighting their attraction… and failing badly.
