Summary
"It was a catalyst, of sorts, one that changed everything. They went from glares to sidelong glances, a brush of hands, quiet conversations. Neither of them, certainly, would have seen it coming, but it happened nonetheless."
Draco knows that he's back at Hogwarts for a reason. He's been given a second chance, and he's ready to take it.
Harry isn't too sure why he's back at Hogwarts, other than the fact that he's spent his whole life living for others, but maybe he can learn to live for himself.
A year of growth, of of finding oneself, and of finding joy, even after the darkest of times.

Summary
The sun shines hot on the Aegean, the day that Acacius kisses him for the first time.
Something flickers in the shimmering air, but Kleitos knows nothing but the heat between them almost too hot to stand, grains of sand under calloused feet, rough hands against his face, on his shoulders, down his back.
For just a moment, the world narrows.

Summary
"The brush of their shoulders sent pleasant shivers down Robin’s spine, no matter how much she told herself that this means nothing.
It was getting harder to convince herself that it was true."
Robin isn't entirely sure what's happening to her life any more. What are you supposed to do when your world was flipped upside-down, then turned right back on its head, leaving nothing the same?
In which nightmares are had, families are redefined, and love grows.

Summary
This is a rationalfic take on "The Last Herald-Mage", inspired by HPMOR and other works. Accessible regardless of whether you've read the original series. Though far from perfect, the characters are trying to do their best with the information, intelligence, and skills they have. Unfortunately, their enemies are also doing that, and sometimes even reasonable decisions can turn out badly.
[Meta note: this starts out a bit slow, and book 1 is kind of a different genre from the rest. In particular, the rationalist content is fairly subtle at the start, and the effective altruism themes come out a lot more towards the end of book 2 and early book 3. If you’re moderately enjoying book 1 but a little bored, try sticking it out until the end of book 2.]
Ashamed of him, Vanyel's father sends his disappointing son to live with his strict aunt, the Herald-Mage Savil. Although he knows things will change, Vanyel dramatically underestimates just how different his life is about to become. Sparks fly as he discovers both love and magic.

“Your clothes,” she says. “I don’t mind them.”
“Well, they’re all yours,” he says. “Whenever you want.”
In the moment, he’d carve out his actual heart and give it to her if it made her feel better. His clothes are nothing compared to that.

Summary
[“Well, I already have the plans in place to be back mid-June,” Zuko says, firm. “My classes won’t be started yet, so I can be there to—”
“Don’t worry about it,” Aang repeats, laughing. “There’s plenty of time!”
Which is true in its own way, two and a half whole months until the little sucker arrives, so Sokka isn’t quite sure why hearing Aang say hits him in the gut quite so hard.
Must be that indigestion.]
OR,
Sokka and Zuko have been roommates and best friends through college and graduation, through first jobs and new jobs and promotions, through friends getting married and sisters being pregnant and everything in between.
But that all ends in four days.
Four days to pack up an apartment. Four days before Zuko goes to law school and Sokka stays behind. Four days to untangle two lives that Sokka and Zuko have spent ten years weaving together.
Can you call it a divorce, if you were never actually together in the first place?

Summary
Harry and Draco are perfectly fine, separately minding their business in 2004, when the Unspeakables conscript them into service... in the First War against Voldemort.
Come for mutual pining and forced proximity in a 1980 hotel room, stay for young Sirius and philosophising about immortality and wormholes. And an eighties cowboy soap opera.
