Summary
Tavlor has lightning in her blood—Astarion would know, he tasted it when he drank from her. Summary
She wasn’t quite sure what she’d expected hell to look like. More fire and brimstone, probably. Maybe some demons flying around menacingly. Instead she looked around and saw… a city. A grimy, polluted city where the smog reflected the streetlights, giving the night sky a red hue, but a city nonetheless. It looked more like the run-down part of LA than a hell dimension. Then again, the one time she’d actually been to a hell dimension it had just looked like a gross creepy factory, which wasn’t too unlike the view around her.
When Buffy leaps from the tower to save her sister and the world from the hell dimension opening below them, she suddenly finds herself stranded in Gotham with no idea what she's doing here or even where "here" is. She quickly becomes tangled up with the BatFam, as everyone scrambles to figure out what in the multiverse is going on.

Trepidation returns at the thought of making himself leave the relative safety of his tree-shade.
What Astarion would like to say is ‘go away’.
What he actually says is, “Of course! Now that I know I’m among fellow mages I wouldn’t mind discussing the craft over a nice stroll!”
After Astarion falls from the Nautiloid, he ends up somewhere new entirely. Namely, he ends up in Sunnydale not long after a certain group of vampire hunters start college there. Surprisingly enough, nobody gets killed.
