The first inclination she’d had of being dead was the young woman sitting next to her. It was a Sunday, her husband was out of the house at a talk for trainee joiners now that he’d retired and had the time, and Mary had been sat watching Coronation Street while waiting for him to get back. The ads were on. The light of the screen reflected back at her in this woman’s eyes and for a moment Mary wondered how she’d got in without the sound of the door opening.
It was the soft smile and the sympathy in her gaze that told Mary she was dead.

Was he alive at all, or just one more ghost haunting the Warehouse? He couldn’t die at all while he was on the metronome – and isn’t the ability to die part of what life even is? “Undead” would probably be a more accurate label than something like “half-alive” was. Pete had already hit the ground running with zombie jokes, but maybe there was truth behind the laughter.

A magical whirlwind romance ensues and Crowley finds the love she'd always wanted, at Aziraphale's side as Mx. Claus and with their merry bunch of children.
