Stephanie Brown, the fourth Robin, died tragically, but not tragically enough to be remembered it seemed.
Once she came back to life and assessed the lack of remembrance, bitterness and anger took hold of her.
If they were to forget about her, she would not bother to remind them.
As she roams, frantic and distraught, she comes across Red Hood. He, better than anyone recognized her pain and offered her his help.

Summary
Basically Gwen ends up in an alternate universe instead of the canon one and meets heroes she's never met like Daredevil, but also vilains while she tries to be relevant and live her life.
A lot of events will still be modeled after the canon of her comic events but my main goal is to touch on her relationships since I realized (Yes I realized a lot of things today) that her and Batroc will never have their wholesome relationship again.
