Summary
The ground, sodden to the point of oversaturation, squelched underfoot, quickly tearing away the angel’s sandals as he sank over ankle-deep. The once grassland was dead and silt-ridden; ripples of soil and sediment marked where the currents had been. The drier portions had begun to crack and crumble. Once beautiful trees sat barren, stripped of branch and leaf, coated with earth. Only some had the beginning of buds, struggling to thrive. Everything lay decimated before them, and it was apparently Good.

Summary
Heaven had always felt empty, lifeless, but it had been millennia since he had had to spend so much time in the vast nothingness. He could so easily imagine why Soho had been so overwhelming to poor Muriel, when there was absolutely nothing here. Or, perhaps, he was simply built wrong. A bee should feel safe in her hive, surrounded by the rest of her kin. She should feel safe in the community she was created to serve. However, his brain and chest felt hollow.
Or, Aziraphale learns the truth.

A series of One shots where John saves Sherlock's life in so many ways. Will be updated sporadically as and when I get any time to write. As always I like my characters hurt, so plenty of angst, H/C, whump and bromance (no slash) will ensue. Please comment if you can.
The purpose of these stories is for people to enjoy a little bit of angst and hurt/comfort from time to time. Reading all chapters at once may be too much for some. Angst ahead, continue if (like me) you're a junkie for the stuff.

Summary
