As the ten year anniversary looms over the wizarding world, Harry Potter is adjusting to his new position of Head Auror and juggling life as a single dad, newly divorced and a pile of paperwork that Robards left on the desk. The last thing he expected was that he would find a report on Pansy Parkinson, former Death Eater supporter and now reformed fashion consultant.
Opening the file and finding an increasing number of threats to his former classmate was certainly not on the list for his week.
Then again, Pansy Parkinson was more than okay with never seeing the bloody Chosen One again in her life. Even if it meant that he was there in an attempt to save her life.

When they’re done, she gets out of his bed and dresses again, buttoning and tying and zipping and smoothing until she's back in pristine condition and any evidence of their rough encounters has been erased. And she gives him a curt nod, and he half-expects her to say, “pleasure doing business with you” before she strides out of his room, nose in the air, like she’s too good for the cock she was just begging for.
That's what it is, he supposes. Business. A transaction. A bartering of goods between two broken people with no other currency to give except their bodies.
