Suddenly he heard a pop and flinched. “What’s happening to my baby? Ah shit, what’s Non going to do?” He cried as he turned on his blinker and pulled over. “And it’s raining too. Damn, just my luck.” He sighed and knocked his head against the head rest. “What am I going to do? Why does it have to be now? Dammit.” He said. He didn’t know what was wrong, and he didn’t want to bother Phee. He didn’t even know where to start looking so he could figure out the problem. “What am I gonna do? Shit, how do I fix it?” He murmured; he really should have listened to Phee when he told him to learn at least the basics about cars.

There’s lots of things Dazai didn’t believe in.
Ghosts, for one. Surely if they existed, he’d be one of the most haunted people on the planet. Aliens. It wasn’t so much that he didn’t think they could exist, probably not in the way humans thought they did — he just didn’t really care enough.
On the flip side, there were other things he did believe in when it came down to it. Simple truths.
In any case, Dazai woke up that morning to an unremarkable world. At 24 seconds into 11:03pm, he had the inexplicable, unexplainable and infuriating feeling that Chuuya had done something incredibly stupid.
