Lucille Zohar never had much interest in soccer. Her only real connection to the Yellowjackets, the school’s soccer team, was through her father, who happened to be their coach. Because of him, she naturally formed friendships with the players over time, but her closest bond was with Natalie Scatorccio, a rebellious blonde who had become her best friend.
When the invite to Nationals came, Lucille saw an opportunity she couldn’t pass up. Tagging along with the team to Seattle felt like a no-brainer—a free trip, free food, and a guaranteed good time.
