Summary
The lawsuit has been and gone, and Buck has been back at the 118 for a few weeks now. It’s not been as warm of a welcome back as he’d expected. When A-shift get called to a 5-alarm fire and Buck is left as man-behind yet again, he doesn’t think it can get any worse.
Then he finds a young girl bleeding to death and he’s the only person who can help her.
It only gets worse from there.

Since I've now read this twice I figured it should be in my collection. Oh God, this is some of the heaviest Buck emotional torture I've read and I am so here for it.

Summary
It’s a stupid decision, but with Chris and Eddie in his head, on his mind at all times he makes the appointment without hesitation.
But when it’s done, when his skin feels raw, his thigh almost shaking with it he finally gets to look at it and it’s everything he wanted. Without shame he tears up right there in front of the mirror and his artist pats his arm and asks what he thinks.
“It’s perfect.” Buck rasps
Or: Eddie moves to Texas and Buck gets a tattoo everytime he misses him and everything that happens during and after

Summary
Dating Buck was incredible and had many, many plus points. However, there was one minor thing that was irritating Eddie. He’d known, since before they’d become friends really, that Buck was a tactile person. And as best friends Buck had always been particularly tactile with him. It’s just that… he hadn’t really considered how that translated to them being boyfriends. And just how much Buck had apparently been holding back. Somehow, even completely dead to the world, Buck would wrap himself around Eddie and cling all night long. Most nights, Eddie endured the discomfort but when a heatwave arrived in L.A that rivalled Afghanistan heat he found his patience ran just a little too thin.

Summary
Hen folds her arms over her chest. “You told Buck he’s like a father to you?”
“Well, no,” Eddie says, voice coming out casual, like this isn’t the weirdest conversation he’s ever had in his life. He rallies himself, tries to organise the words in an order that makes sense before opening his mouth. Still, what comes out is, “He’s like a brother-father-cousin figure. Three-in-one.”
Hen visibly reels back. “Okay,” she says after a moment, grabbing her tea. “Not touching that.”
Or: Eddie comes to terms with his feelings for Buck. Unconventionally.
