Summary
Harry decides he's done being a pawn for Dumbledore after the events that led to Arthur Weasley getting hospitalized. Instead of staying put and letting his guilt control him, he leaves, inviting Sirius to join him. He travels to Bulgaria where he meets up with Viktor Krum intent on transferring to Durmstrang.
His decision to leave sets off a chain of events that he never could have predicted, including a friendship with a boy he thought hated him.
After all, he didn't maintain friendships with the other competitors of the Triwizard Tournament so they could commiserate over what they experienced together. He's built a network of friends, and with the help of Sirius, Narcissa, and Draco, he's able to more forward and live a life he never thought he'd get to have.

Summary
When Ushijima inherited a property that had seen better days, he found himself spending a lot of time and effort in a new part of town restoring the house to its former glory. However, he didn't expect a litter of puppies in a yard a few houses over to revive his spirit, as well.
He certainly didn't anticipate their owner stirring something to life within him, either, but that was a development he didn't need much coaxing to get used to.

Summary
Daichi wasn’t Daichi if he wasn’t confident and supportive, but there he was, unable to lift himself from the ground to face anyone else. Kuroo knew that look on his face and it didn’t belong there; it was the face of someone who believed they were a failure.
All the sounds in the spacious gymnasium were muted, the calls of his teammates completely unheard as Kuroo ducked under the net. He moved on instinct alone and didn’t hesitate as he fell to his knees and wrapped his arms around Daichi’s back. He felt the other captain stiffen under him in surprise, but he didn’t let go as he held on tighter.
