Easily one of the best fanfics I have read ever. Starting from a silly premise, it blossomed into something really amazing. The author is brave and merciless in the best way: they present us with characters we fall in love with and then doesn't hesitate to take them away, but it always MAKES SENSE, is not made lightly and for the stupid reason of shocking the reader (I'm looking at you, GRRM). I love the spotlight for Ron, I love how Ramsay calls out Snape (but the fic is not full of Snape-hate, don't worry if you are a fan of him!), I love how beautifully developed Slytherins are, I love how diverse the characters are. If you are to only read one fanfic from HP universe? This easily can be THE one.

Rey’s experience with Demi-Humans is about as limited as her experience with snow, that is to say: horrendously minimal, given that she’s just moved to Coruscant with no intention of returning to the hell hole of a desert she scraped herself from. Easing herself into the lifestream of a city that demands assimilation to the rigors and confines of a bustling metropolitan was never going to be easy, but throw in a one-night stand with a tall, brick house of a man that doesn’t seem keen on leaving it at one night, and any hopes Rey had for an easy transition got blown to high heaven.

Summary
Stellar Outcasts: Stars (or other heavenly bodies) outside a recognized galaxy system.
After the war and the fall of the First Order, a new form of government is being built in Hanna City and a new kind of normal has come to the galaxy. For Finn, Poe, Rose, and the returned Ben Solo, this means brokering treaties and writing legislation. Rey spends her days occupied with retrofitting spacecraft and acting as a kind of enforcer for the new galactic Council.
She also spends most of her nights in Ben Solo’s bed.
After one particular mission it becomes clear that not all of Rey’s problems were solved when the Resistance won the war. A lifetime of deprivation and self-sufficiency isn’t something that goes away on its own.
OR: a canonverse friends-to-lovers AU featuring Rey’s intimacy issues and Ben’s patience.

Ben Solo has a pretty easy time of fighting his Alpha instincts with the right cocktail of suppressants and bad attitude. However, some old wive's tales about the moon or the position of the stars may have knocked this mating cycle way out of wack for a lot of Alphas and Omegas; making them desperate to attract a mate.
He may have had an easy time fighting his instincts before, but his body has other plans. Especially when it starts sprouting some truly impressive plumage to attract the right Omega.
At least it catches Rey's eye.

Everything is slower, mundane all over again, and now she's got a relationship out of it that she has to try to maintain over great distances. All this while fielding offers to let her baking talents grow - if she makes certain sacrifices.
What does she do? How does her relationship grow - or dwindle - throughout it all? And can Rey stay true to herself in the midst of her newfound fame?
Only time will tell.
