Harry knew that Armageddon was happening, most likely because it was something he had been able to sense ever since becoming Master of Death. For Death to appear and offer him a way out, to tell him that out of everyone in the multiverse Harry was the only one able to become Master of Death meant something to the primordial being was unexpected. But not unwelcomed, certainly not when it might become even more.
