Summary
Elide is called to the freedom of the Thirteen and she journeys with them to rally the witches for the fight ahead. Through trials, tribulations, and a descent into madness, she discovers the truth about her family and where her witch blood comes from. She finds connections in Asterin’s story and solidarity with the witches, as they look for not only an army, but a better future.
This is a take on what could have happened if Elide decided to go with Manon and the witches after Aelin was captured by Maeve, rather than with Lorcan and the rest of the party. In keeping with my tradition, this is a piece of smut that took on a vast life of its own.
