While Hermione just wanted to forget about it and move on Harry and Ron lapped up all the praise they were getting and gladly accepted their titles as hero's. The closer the summer holidays got the more the boys egos grew. Hermione spent her time dreading the summer knowing she couldn't go home due to having obliviated herself from her family’s memory. She assumed she would be going home with Ron and Harry to the Weasley's but when they get back to the station nothing goes as they expected.
