Summary
Technoblade faces a decision: they execute him again, or he agrees to be shipped off to some king he doesn't know as an unwilling spouse. He'd prefer the former, but they haven't been able to kill him, so he's going to have to survive this marriage until he gains an ally. He just didn't expect the ally to be his new husband.
In which Techno accidentally becomes fast friends with the person he was supposed to dislike.
It's just a bonus that they're already married. -

The shadow of two pairs of wings are as bright to Techno as the sun could ever be.
There stood a tall child and a short man, black of the ashes and red of trickling blood. But they were also his brother and father, black of the hushed night and red of pomegranate shrubs.
And Techno doesn't understand how they are his family. Because even though they feel like family, they certainly don't look like family.
OR
Phil is an Elytrian and can fly. Tommy is an Avian and will eventually learn how to fly. Techno has no idea why he doesn't have wings and why he couldn't be like his family.

“I'm not a child,” the younger folds his arms, rolling his eyes. “My name's Tommy. I’ll have you know that I'm like, your biggest fan ever!”
“Why would you be a fan of a supervillain? That's not normal.”
“Why not?”

Tommy is a huge fan of the supervillain Blade. Unfortunately, (fortunately, actually) the villain is a much more complex person than he thought. Cue grief, healing, revenge, and all that bittersweet stuff.

Techno was sneaking out. He knew he shouldn’t be, hell, Phil had even said that it wasn’t safe for changelings to be away from magic for too long but he needed to do this. It was only the fae realm. How bad could it really be? Pretty bad actually but he was sick of being cooped up in the nest all the time no matter how much he loved curling up under Kristin’s wings! He also had to get a gift for Kristin and Phil's anniversary.
Sure, they’d already been married for thousands of years and didn’t really celebrate it too much anymore but that wasn’t the point! It was their first anniversary that HE was with them on. It’d be rude not to get them something to commemorate. Before, he had already made peace with not being able to go out and get them something with the whole “you literally cannot survive on your own” speech he kept getting but Schlatt had pulled Phil away to lecture him and Kristin was busy with court, providing Techno with the perfect opportunity to slip away for a couple minutes. They probably wouldn’t notice. It’d be fineeeee.

Basically, Techno is turned into a Hoglin and starts freaking out in the nether while Philza goes ‘nope, I’m not doing his chores again, not this time, Ranboo, you’re my favourite, fuck this’ and sets off to find him.
Also, Phil is oblivious to Hoglin Techno.
(Update: not sure if I’m going to continue. I’ve grieved and let go, but it still feels wrong to write about Technoblade when he’s not with us anymore. Maybe someday.) -
