Summary
Ghost doesn’t feel like he could let Johnny go, not ever again, but he also knows that his hands are not where Johnny’s soul belongs.
And he does long to see that fire lighting up Soap’s eyes again. He will have nightmares, more to an already impressive collection, of Johnny’s sightless eyes staring into the nothing of death instead of back at him.
Of Johnny with a bloody hole in his head, just like Tommy, Beth, his mother, like Joseph. And Ghost, as always arriving too late. Except this time maybe it doesn’t have to end in a funeral.
