The merman saw the pirate’s eyes soften, he looked up to the new moon and started to hum a melody. And at that moment…the merman felt himself move, bringing him closer to the surface. His heart beating in his ear, the pirate’s figure becoming clearer…with one more wave of his tail, he felt the cold night air finally hit his face.
