In a city where your only hope is to abandon your restless dreams or die, some of the ones that held onto theirs are rewarded with the chance to fight to make them come true. Various characters from Library of Ruina and Limbus Company gain the ability to summon heroes from the Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring games for a battle royale with the goal of making their wish come true. We start off with Pete, who summons The Lord's Blade Ciaran to help him achieve his dream of joining a powerful syndicate someday. From there, we meet other characters from all of these game series with their own goals and powerful skills. Chronologically, this would take place just before Library of Ruina would.

I do not claim that the agonies I have suffered is anywhere near to that of those I inflicted pain upon, but I have searched for closure in one thousand different ways, and found that it will likely never come to me. Only death, only the sweet embrace of the dream, will free me now. And yet, I still cling. It is strange, yes? How desperately the human heart clings? One might almost think that it would be better to be a beast.
Maria reflects upon her friendship with Micolash over the years - and finally goes to him for help. It does not, as expected, go particularly well.

The Good Hunter gives Annalise a ring. She knows what it’s meant to mean – a symbol of a blood contract, permitted only to those slated to bear a special child – but the child is stillborn and someone must fix this mess, or there will be only more of this: more blood, more stolen, broken women and more endless lingering nights.
So instead, it is a declaration. She will ascend. She will become the child.
Annalise knows damn well what the gesture means. But she would not see it lead to her knight’s ruin.
