Summary
She was trapped within the dream. A contract to rid her of death and to hunt as the obligee demanded. The night drew to a close, and the moon lay dead in shambles, and she transcended humanity into her next infancy.
She was nothing more than a pawn for the one she pledged her life to, committing heinous deeds for nothing in return. Tarnished and tainted by rage, she forfeited her very soul for the death of another.
She awoke in the lands between, childhood ended, and now Tarnished. Beckoned by a desperate plea, as her sympathetic nature deemed it, she would respond when called. This time, she was obligor, but the obligee, perhaps a cruel fate, but one she would take to hunt that which led her down this path in the first place.

“A corpse…should be left well alone.” Maria gritted out, eager to rip the heart out of the intruder who wished to unveil her unforgivable sins, but when she lifted her head to gaze upon the Hunter’s face, her resolve immediately crumbled, and her heart lurched. Her stomach twisted and the air left her lungs; her words cut and left dying on her tongue.
“Catherine?” Maria breathed.

The scent of roses and leather enveloped her, and she shivered when she felt the soft, gentle caress of calloused fingertips down her arm. She lifted her gaze and her breath hitched when she saw those bewitching silver eyes filled with mischief and desire.
“Dance with me.” She commanded softly.
“As you wish, my Lady.”

Summary
The Hunter stood in the Dream now, breathing heavily. She holstered her pistol and leant against her metal cane. The Doll could sense the bee in the Hunter’s bonnet, so to speak. It was the reason she was animate now, after all.
The Hunter looked up, having caught her breath, and the Doll watched her frown deepen. She’d noticed the Doll looking back at her. Dutifully, the Doll stood from her perch, clasping her wooden hands in front of her, ready to properly welcome the Hunter to her home.
“Hello, good hunter.”

Hunters had long since stopped passing through the Dream, yet the Doll remained faithful, waiting for another to serve. When another finally enters the Dream, the age old relationship between Doll and Hunter becomes much more than either could expect, with the pair growing closer with each of the Hunter's visits to the Dream.

I don't think I have to do this, but just in case:
I don't own Bloodborne or Monster Girl Encyclopedia, nor do I assert ownership in any way, shape, or form. Please don't sue me.
The Hunt is Over. The Moon Presence lies dead, and The Good Hunter has become the new master of the Dream. However, wanting to get away from the horrible place that is Yharnam, she has willed the Hunter's Workshop to a new realm. One filled with lustful Monster Girls and the humans who oppose them.
Though she may not intend to get involved with the War between monsters and humans, she will do whatever it takes to carve out a place for herself in this world. All the while ensuring Yharnam's secrets die with her, and trying to keep her godly status hidden. Will she be able to build a new home in a land ravaged by lust? Will she be able to keep the horrid Insights she discovered in Yharnam to herself? Will her new Eldritch standing be forced out by her experiences in this new world?
And, most importantly, will she be able to find peace?
