Summary
WARNING: This fic has sexual assault in it. There are no graphic details, but it is implied and discussed in the aftermath. There will be a few flashbacks throughout the four parts. I just wanted to put this first in case you would like to skip this one.
Stiles Stilinski was finally feeling safe in the family that he had created. After being viciously attacked and betrayed by his best friend and pack mate, he had found it hard to move on. With the help of Lydia, Malia, his father, and his (now) boyfriend Derek Hale, he had carved a calm place to thrive. That is until one night brings everything back to the surface and he is forced to confront one that hurt him the most.

His eyes snap open.
Warm. He’s Warm again. Stiles is Warm because Derek is holding him and growling somewhere deep in his throat. Derek is curling over him, using his quick-healing werewolf body to shield Stiles from danger even though his human hearing can still pick up Erica, Boyd, and Isaac ripping the lion to shreds behind them. Stiles gasps in realization and Derek startles, trying to pull back and failing spectacularly when the younger man only grips him tighter. “No!”

Stiles wakes up freezing cold on his eighteenth birthday and realizes three things:
1) He has met his soulmate before.
2) He has forty-eight hours to find them before the Chill disappears and he loses his chance to complete their bond.

Summary
When the sheriff's sister ends up in a wheelchair for the duration of summer, Stiles' dreams of three months full of pack bonding, late-night video games and bro-time with Scott come crashing down. He's temporarily relocated to Redford, a three hour drive away, and he can already tell he won't be getting many visitors.
Sure the pack will forget about him while he's gone, Stiles is determined to make the most of his summer of isolation, training his body and mind - and his magic - so he can come back with a bang, and maybe catch a certain Sourwolf's eye.
Then Derek shows up at his window one night with a flimsy excuse about needing research done. Suddenly, his summer away is looking a whole lot more interesting.
