Such an interesting premise in this one! In which Ed's trip through the Gate results in him remembering all his past lives. This can be disorienting at times, and frustrating (because he KNOWS his soulmate but his soulmate thinks he's just a 12/14/16-year-old kid). There are tantalizing little blips and flashbacks to the past lives, and we get to see how knowing them makes Edward anything BUT a kid. (Much to the confusion and intrigue of all the people around him, none of whom are in the know but Al, Teacher and Granny.)
