“Anything,” gasped Zhao Yunlan. His chest hurt. He struggled to rise, but he couldn’t move.
“Care for him. Protect him,” whispered Shen Wei. The tears spilled over. “Please.”
Something heavy collapsed on top of Zhao Yunlan. He gasped and looked into Ye Zun’s wide, shocked eyes.
