Summary
While standing outside of the Grant-Nash residence, Buck continuously wrung his hands together, pacing across the porch. He knew that he didn’t have to tell Bobby about this new development, as it wouldn’t interfere with the job; afterall, they were at two different stations. It’s normal- two firefighters going on a date.
Or: Instead of coming out in the hospital with that kiss, Buck comes out to Bobby, directly.

Summary
“Can I try something?” Tommy asks. His knuckles slide from Buck’s shoulder down his chest, down his stomach, and come to a stop right at the top of his jeans. Tommy’s pinky slips under the denim right behind the button.
Buck goes hot all over. He nods. “Please.”
Tommy first works open Buck’s jeans and then his own. Buck is so captivated by the look of concentration on Tommy’s handsome face that he barely gets a chance to look down and see Tommy’s dick before Tommy is taking them both in one of his big, rough hands and pressing them together. And then Buck can’t look away.
Or:
Buck and Tommy go back to the loft after a real second date. Buck doesn't know what he wants, but he knows that he wants something. -

The whiteboard says EMERGENCY MEETING: OPERATION BACHELOR BASH.
Chim said he didn’t want a party. Buck heard “Plan something unforgettable.” So naturally, the 118 is pulled into a whirlwind of karaoke debates, neon panic, and one deeply color-coded spreadsheet.
Hen has a headache. Eddie has jokes. Ravi has… fog machine ideas. And Buck? Buck might be wondering if it’s too early to text Tommy.
A missing-scene prequel to the bachelor party (aka the Crockett and Tubbs Show™) chaos of 7x06. No plot, just vibes (and party logistics)

Summary
“Hey, is that Eddie?” Ravi asked.
Buck’s head immediately snapped in the direction Ravi was looking, and sure enough… there was Eddie, sitting at the bar with a tall, broad-shouldered man with dark, wavy hair. Eddie was grinning at the man as he listened to whatever it was that the man was saying to him- animatedly waving his hands around as he said something that made Eddie laugh.
“Yeah… yeah it- it is,” Buck said softly.
“Huh,” Ravi hummed. “Small world. Guess this is the right spot for a date!”
Milo and Kelsey both laughed at Ravi’s joke while Buck kept his eyes trained on Eddie and the man at the bar. He felt a knot forming in the pit of his stomach- his hand tightening around his beer bottle as he kept his gaze focused on the two men across the room.

Summary
When Eddie said “this doesn't change a thing between us,” he’d meant it. He’d meant it in two ways. First, he meant that Buck's bisexuality would never change their friendship and that he would continue to accept and celebrate every part of Buck just as he always has.
But the other way he meant it was more of a hope. He hoped this wouldn’t change anything about how they were with each other. Whenever one of them was in a relationship, things always changed. So he meant that he hoped that Buck and Tommy dating wouldn't change too much about how he and Buck operated. Looking back, it was a foolish hope.
Or: Buck and Tommy's supposed "honeymoon stage" drives an accidental wedge between Buck and Eddie. When it all finally comes to a head, and Eddie acts rashly, they try to find their way back to each other.

Summary
They kept texting every morning and night, and plenty of times in between. It was definitely coming close to the line of dating vs. getting to know each other, but Buck figured that as long as he kept things PG in his head and actions, it counted.
Maybe PG-13.

They’d been at the bar for more than an hour. They hadn’t stopped talking once since Buck sat down. They’d covered shipwrecks and Buck’s air fryer and Abuela’s garden. And not once in an hour had Buck mentioned Tommy’s name.
“How’s that going?” Eddie asked.

Summary
Evan smiled back, a soft, almost shy smile that made Tommy’s heart stutter, and tentatively reached out to Tommy’s hand, but then quickly pulled back at the slightest brush of their fingers. The contact was brief, but long enough for Tommy to feel a jolt of electricity run through his body. Evan, red-faced, cleared his throat. “I, uh, I’ll hold you to that. But just so you know, I’m picky.”
“Noted,” Tommy said, trying to sound casual, but he couldn’t help the way his voice softened. He hadn’t even thought about it, but now that it had almost happened, he really wanted to hold Evan’s hand. He fought the urge to grab it though. Evan had said he wasn’t sure what he was ready for. Showing PDA with a man might’ve been too much. “We can hold hands. You know, if you want to.”

Summary
“Whoa whoa whoa, what’s all this?” Chimney asked. Leaning over the table, he scowled down at the thrice-damned chart. “I thought we were done with this thing!”
“We were,” Maddie said, voice faux-chipper, “but now I have to squeeze in a plus-one for my brother!”
Chimney’s heart sank.

Summary
“I know,” he almost sobs, letting his head crash to the surface of the table. “But I don’t remember anything from that night, so I don’t know what happened. And we didn’t want to tell anyone because Eddie is trying to contact his lawyer to see how we can get it annulled, but I forgot to take off the ring. And Tommy saw. And-”
“Stop, wait, just a moment,” his sister interjects. “That’s why Tommy was yelling at you. He saw the ring?”
“Must have,” Chimney answers before Buck even has the chance to. “And obviously, he knew it was Eddie right away, because there never was any question on who Buck would marry given the chance.”
“Hey,” even though he feels the need to object to that, there is no heat in his voice. The longer he thinks about it, the more he realizes that his brother-in-law is completely right with that assessment.

Summary
When Tommy leaves Buck outside the restaurant after their first date, neither of them could have imagined what happened next. Neither could Eddie, still inside the restaurant and unaware that it was a date.
Unfortunately for Buck, his introduction to the physical aspects of being bisexual is violently brutal rather than gentle and loving when he's assaulted in the dark lonely night.
How will Eddie and Tommy react when they learn what happened - and will Buck be able to move forward from the experience?
