Lloyd had a problem.
Look, Kai was an idiot, okay? The first time they met, he had hung him from the roof of a house for stealing candy. Afterwards, they had become enemies because he had the Hypnobrai under his control and was using them to terrify people and try and rule Ninjago. Just your normal kid stuff.
Then he'd been forced to live with the ninja, and Lloyd had made a discovery that was probably going to ruin him.
That Kai, Kai and only Kai, was incredibly attractive. Suddenly, he understood the Darkley teachers and students who kept gossiping about him as "the handsome one" He almost felt like he owed them an apology, even if they were assholes.

If you are wondering why is this called this way, trihydroxidoboron is a fancy way to call boric acid, which is the shit you put into fire to get green colors. i chose that name specifically because it feels like an unnecessary complicated way to name greenflame. i swear im not a nerd guys
