In the usually (not) peaceful neighborhood of MyStreet, there was only one rule that they all abided by:
The only game allowed on game night was DnD.
Granted, only a few of them attended game night, but the others did occasionally, which was reason enough to include this rule.
Why?
Well, they had tried many times to play any game other than DnD, but it usually ended in some form of chaos (which cannot be foreclosed due to legal issues).
They all knew this rule by heart.
Well, everyone except the one person in their friend group who didn’t live on MyStreet.
And she, bless her soul, was determined to make everyone have an epic game night without the inclusion of DnD, although she (and everyone else in attendance) may have ulterior motives of their own…. -

Waking up in a dingy cell in the Nether is a far cry from the life of greenery and sunshine Laurance is acquainted with. He's resigned himself to contentment with his fate, hoping to die in the Nether as his true final act of protection for Lady Aphmau. However, when he meets an eccentric warlock whose resigned themself to the same fate he has, it begins to change his perspective. With one strange friend in his corner, Laurance is more confident in his strength and ability to crawl back home from this and return to the world of evergreen trees, throwing bones to dogs, and protecting villages that he once knew as home.
Valentine's been trapped in the Nether for decades now, serving the Shadow Knights (one general a little too well) for as long as he can remember. He's uninterested in the idea of leaving this place. It's become home to him. The sane, half-baked Shadow Knights he comforts and cares for have become something like found family to him. Laurance, though, Laurance is different. Twisting and interlapping lines on the charred grass wove together, circling her inside of a trunk of a tree that had been illustrated by the purple fire blazing on the grass. Her hair fanned out above her onto the top of the illustration - three branches. The fire went out and the tips of the grass were charred, as though it had touched the earth in a single, deliberate shape.

A rewrite of Minecraft Diaries with some original characters and some from Seduce Me. I am planning to make this a long fic, but this is the first project I have long plans and thoughts for, and I am using characters and story plots from someone else, so I am sorry if there are inconsistencies or I changed and tweaked some things. As mentioned in tags, one thing I did change is the brothers’ relationships. I alll wanted them to take different roles in this world and for that they couldn’t be related/really know each other right from the beginning.

Exerpt from the first chapter because I don't have the faintest clue I am doing:
"A masked man knelt upon the ground and felt the soil beneath his hands- it was no different than that which the town of Golden Drop was fixed atop- so barren that even weeds struggled to grow. Even the decades-old trees that had shaded the village once upon a time had yet to put out new leaves despite it being late spring.
It wasn't a pretty sight- The masked man knew the area well, for he had kept tabs on it for the past decade or so, and he knew that the previous year had been rough enough. What, with the crops bearly producing enough food to keep the townspeople from starving. Atop it all, the local economy had taken a massive hit as they no longer had surplus for which to trade for profit. The town's people were borderline starving by now as all their stored crop was all but entirely depleted from the long, hard winter months they had weathered."

Zane Ro'meave, a man that had done many things during his college years in Falcon Claw University, but one of those things is not like the other, although, he had it coming due to Garroth's stubborness. Although he was scared shitless every time he had to actually do his job, he'd been very lucky with the randomized colleague system the company, Wolfgang Paranormal, had in place. So, he was mostly in charge of monitoring things from the truck but also occasionally helped in cases when the ghosts became hostile.
However, things took a different turn when he was suddenly paired up with people he knew from high school all the way to college. Kawaii-chan, the girl who was the literal incarnation of every single cutesy anime girl that ever existed, and Kim, Aphmau's friend who was always seen sneaking around Lawrence and Garroth.
