Summary

He knew that outside the walls of Castrum Kremnos, the Chrysos Heirs were still somehow managing to be thorns in Mydei's side, even with their long period of inaction. He knew that the war continued to drag on, against the wishes of almost everyone involved. And he knew that sometimes the atmosphere in the castle got a little tense and needed him to step in to calm it down.
But things between him and Mydei? That was perfect.
