It's just that he was worried when he wasn't there after the X-games so he could pick on him, not because he disappeared without trace. Plus he's mad because the guy just...shows up at the start of the school year and is being sooo frustrating like usual. Not because he wants to be friends with him so he can make sure he doesn't leave again. Also..also he might be super handsome with his blue eyes and gorgeous brown hair. Wait what?
