Summary
The Alicante Institute wasn’t like most schools. It was created for the kids, who, for one reason or another struggled with his mainstream school. Alec Lightwood was a social worker who’d found himself spending most of his work time working with these kids, and knew all too well the extent of the problem. Deciding to take matters into his own hands, he decided to create the school. It had been hard work to get it done, as there had been so much to do, but thankfully there had been people around to help him.

Summary

“You really could just say no,” Mark pointed out, as Kieran flung himself into bed between him and Cristina, hands over his face. “You are the King.”
“Winter advised it very strongly,” said Kieran in a muffled, put-upon voice.

Cristina abruptly looked a little sheepish. “No comment,” she said evasively, beginning to sort laundry into white and colored clothes.
“Clothing thieves,” Mark said, in an almost wondering tone. “I’m dating a pair of clothing thieves.”
Having Multiple Partners just means Multiple People are stealing your clothes.

“I’ve only taken your socks twice,” Mark began, before realizing that it wasn’t a very airtight defense. He gave it up as a bad job. “Is this what dating multiple people is? Stealing each other’s clothes all the time?”
“Is it really stealing if it was yours to begin with?” Cristina mused.
“Is it really stealing if you are welcome to anything I own?” asked Kieran, a smile in his voice. Mark tipped his head back against Kieran’s chest.
“I don’t think any of these arguments would hold up under examination,” he said, but it was entirely too fond. He was resigned to his fate, and quite comfortably so, at that.
