Techno flinches away with a high-pitched whine when Phil touches his wrists. Phil gasps out a desperate sorry, sorry, but he doesn’t stop. He can’t stop. He doesn’t have time. They could come back at any second.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he sobs out as he forces Techno’s thumbs out of joint, pulls his hands free from the cuffs. Techno is crying, too, silent and shaking and unmoving. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”

He knew he had too many expectations for this little raccoon, He knew he was expecting Tommy to be like Apollo-
But that wasn’t fair, Because Tommy wasn’t Apollo. Apollo was dead and Tommy was an abused palisman he had impulsively bought before he was emotionally ready to take care of another creature that wasn’t Apollo. It was hard to look at Tommy without thinking of his beloved wolf palisman that had been ripped away from him..
Tommy blinked, Why was he sad? Had he done something to warrant the witch to be upset? He could still smell the lingering scent of emotional distress and pain.. Why was he sad? He didn’t understand he did what he was supposed to didn’t he? Whatever it’s probably a dumb human thing.
Techno knew that the palisman was probably confused about his emotions, He hated to see the palisman so unsure, He hated how skittish and fearful the palisman was- He hated this whole situation.

- Ha-ga-ochiru, or better known as The Fallen Moon festival —-Which in Tommy’s opinion, makes no sense in translation whatsoever—- Happens every year, near the apple orchard. The same apple orchard he was told like everyone else not to go to at a young age.
Apparently, as he learned recently, it was to keep whatever haunting the orchard at bay. Tommy think whatever they think are doing was useless, seeing as kids and adults always goes missing. -

“Hello?” The voice called again. “Tommy? You up yet? Dad made pancakes, you don’t wanna miss it.”
There were a lot of things wrong with that statement. Not just that Tommy had no idea where he was and didn’t know this person, even though they were speaking like the opposite was true. No, the main problem was that Tommy didn’t have a dad.
His parents gave him away as soon as he was born. He’d been passed around the foster system for most of his childhood until, just two months ago, he’d gotten emancipated. With the little money he’d had, he’d moved into the apartment he currently lived in.
Point is, Tommy doesn’t have parents and he certainly never has the money for breakfast or pancakes.

After getting emancipated from the foster system at seventeen, Tommy is convinced he’s going to spend the rest of his life alone.
That changes when one day, he wakes up in a different dimension, one set in medieval times, one with magic, and more importantly, one where he has a family. Despite the fact that Tommy never existed there in the first place.
Miscommunication, hurt/comfort, and found family occur.

He knew that demons like this dealt in emotional magic, rather than the magic bound by words and subtle nuances like fae, or lesser demons. No, this demon was powerful, and all it needed to gain access to Tommy's soul was something that Tommy had an equally powerful attachment to. It was like finding just the right strings to pull to make a puppet dance. The power of Tommy's memories, of his care and attachment to those discs, would be more than enough to sign himself away forever.
But this was his responsibility. This is what he needed to do... Right? Tommy lets the faces of Phil, Techno, Ranboo, and Tubbo float idly through his mind. Isn't this what they would want him to do, if they were here to see him now? It was his fault the demon was here in the first place... Right?

Tommy wanted to be able to live again before he died.
He wanted to make it out of this room, out of this lab, out of this town. He wanted to go back to school, as crazy as that might sound. He wanted to make friends to go out and do stupid things with, like a proper teenager. Tommy wanted to get fostered by a nice family, one that cared, and one that wanted him. He wanted to know what it was like to live a nice, normal, and secure life.
Tommy didn’t want his last moments alive to be like this. But it seemed, he didn’t have a choice.
Just as hands- that he could barely see- began to reach for one of the vines pinning his wrist to the wall, Tommy felt heaviness and harsh pressure consume him. And then, darkness covered his vision.
It was a shame, to die so close to safety.

Tommy is infected with a rare disease, causing flowers to bloom from his skin. He’s locked in a room in a lab for years, isolated and alone, until he’s found by a family of witches.
